On Facebook, Xiaomi Philippines revealed that the Redmi 13C will go official in the country on December 1. Coming from the Redmi 12C, the Redmi 13C now sports a sleeker-looking build with a boxier design in Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White, and Clover Green colorways.
For the display, it is now equipped with a
smoother 90Hz 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with Gorilla Glass protection. This
screen also has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification (Software Solution),
TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certification, and up to 450 nits peak brightness. Inside,
the handset is still powered by the 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core
processor with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 (1,000MHz) GPU. On Shopee, only 1 version of the
device is listed, the 4GB LPDDR4X with 128GB internal storage edition.
The battery is the same at 5,000mAh. But,
Xiaomi upgraded its 10W charging to USB-C 18W fast charging. For cameras, it
has a large 50MP f/1.8 main camera with PDAF, a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter, and a
QVGA auxiliary lens for depth sensing. On its notch, you will find an upgraded
8MP f/2.0 shooter.
The handset has a side-mounted fingerprint
reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM slots. It runs
with Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 skin on top.
