A few weeks ago, Teclast unveiled the T60 Android tablet, featuring the Unisoc T616 chipset. The tablet has now made its way onto various e-commerce platforms with a price tag of 899 yuan (US$ 123) and is set to be officially up for sale from November 10. The Teclast T60 features a 12-inch IPS display with a 2000×1200 resolution, slim 6.5mm bezels, and a high 92% screen-to-body ratio. It supports a 120Hz touch sampling rate and has an 82-channel touch matrix for improved touch response. Above the screen, there are ambient light and proximity sensors for automatic brightness adjustment and eye protection. It can also alert users if they get too close to the screen.
The tablet has a slim and lightweight
design with a metal body that is 7.8mm thick and weighs 558g. Its overall
dimensions are 279 x 174 x 7.7 mm. Under the hood, it runs Android 13 and is
powered by the 12nm Unisoc Tiger T616 octa-core processor (2.0GHz A75 cores and
A55 cores) along with Mali-G57 GPU. The tablet comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM
(expandable by 8GB), and 256GB storage (expandable up to 1TB using micro SD
card).
Under the hood, Teclast T60 features an
8000mAh battery supporting 18W PD charging and offers dual 4G VOLTE network
capabilities. Coming to cameras, it includes a 13-megapixel AI dual-camera
setup on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. Note that streaming
DRM-protected videos is limited to 720p. The tablet comes in Deep Space Grey
color.
