Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 13 series, unveiled in its domestic market this September, has yet to reach global shores. However, a recent development suggests that the global launch is on the horizon, with the Redmi Note 13 5G making an appearance on Thailand’s NBTC certification database.
The global variant, identified by model
number 2312DRAABG, has successfully cleared the NBTC certification, marking a
significant step toward its worldwide debut. While the certification doesn’t
reveal specific details about the device, expectations are that the global
version of the Redmi Note 13 5G will closely mirror its Chinese counterpart in
terms of specifications.
The Redmi Note 13 5G boasts a 6.67-inch
AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It’s equipped
with a high 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5,
offering a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 10-bit panel for vibrant visuals.
Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared sensor, and IP54
dust and splash resistance.
Powering this device is the MediaTek
Dimensity 6080 SoC, complemented by the Mali G57 GPU. In terms of memory and
storage, it provides options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and
accommodates a microSD card for expandable storage. Users can select from
configurations with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM to suit their needs. The
software experience is based on MIUI 14, which is built on Android 13.
The camera setup includes a robust 100MP
primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, along with a 2MP depth sensor and LED
flash for versatile photography. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera to
capture your moments. The Redmi Note 13 5G features a sizable 5000mAh battery
and supports 33W fast charging via a convenient USB Type-C port.
Earlier, the device was also spotted on
IMDA, FCC & BIS certification websites hinting that the brand plans to
launch it in the global market soon.
