Infinix unveiled the Smart 8 earlier this month, which will be joined by the Smart 8 HD on December 8. This revelation comes from Infinix's Indian branch, which also shared images revealing the Smart 8 HD's design and color options. The Infinix Smart 8 HD will be available in Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White colors. It will sport a squircle-shaped camera island on its back, housing two cameras and a circular flash.
The Smart 8 HD has flat frames and sports
the power button and volume rocker on the right side, with the SIM card slot on
the left. Infinix says the "Smart 8 HD promises a paradigm shift in the
budget smartphone landscape" and will have "several upgrades compared
to its predecessor."
Infinix hasn't detailed the Smart 8 HD's
specs sheet, but the brand confirmed it will come with a 6.6" HD+ Sunlight
Readable punch-hole display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and 500 nits peak
brightness. The smartphone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and
a USB-C port and use UFS 2.2 storage.
With the launch still two weeks away, you
can expect Infinix to reveal a few more features of the Smart 8 HD.
