First announced in China a month ago, the DOOGEE Smini will go official in the Philippines soon. This device is a rare "compact" rugged smartphone featuring a body with an IP68 water and dust resistance and an IP69K rating for resistance against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets.
For specs, the device uses a 4.5-inch LCD
(IPS) screen with qHD+ 1170 x 480 resolution, a secondary 7-segment back
display, a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB
RAM, 7GB Extended RAM, 256GB internal storage, up to 2TB microSD card slot
expansion, and a 3,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.
For cameras, it is packed with a 50MP AI
main camera, and 2MP macro shooter at the back, and an 8MP shooter for selfies
in front. The handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader,
dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots. It runs
with Android 13 OS out of the box.
There is no word about its price tag and
the rest of the availability details yet.
