Barely a month after the release of the Vivo V29 series, reports of its successor, the Vivo V30 series, have already started surfacing online. The new series is expected to include two smartphones, the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro.
This information was revealed by a listing
on the GSMA IMEI database, which showed both devices with the model numbers
V2318 and V2319, respectively. However, no other information about the Vivo V30
series is available from the listing. Given that the Vivo V29 series was just
launched, it is still too early to expect the launch of the Vivo V30 series
anytime soon.
As a reminder, the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29
Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz
refresh rate. They also have the same curved body design with a metallic frame
and glass rear panel. On the back, the Vivo V29 series has a triple camera
setup with a 50MP primary camera that supports OIS. On the front, they have a
50MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo V29 is powered by the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Vivo V29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek
Dimensity 8200 SoC. Both smartphones come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of
internal storage, and they run on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. It will be
interesting to see what new features and improvements Vivo brings to the Vivo
V30 series. We will keep you updated on the latest developments.
