The Oppo A2x was launched earlier this month, and now its close sibling, A2m is on its way. The two devices look the same and have almost identical specs sheets, but a new listing revealed a different chipset. Oppo A2m was listed on the China Telecom website with a Mediatek MT6833V/ZA platform, which is the model number of the Dimensity 700.
The A2m is built around a 6.56” LCD with
HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for a 5 MP selfie camera. There is one
shooter on the back with a 13 MP sensor behind. Other listed specs revealed
Android 13, likely with ColorOS on top, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a fingerprint
scanner, which will be on the side.
Oppo A2m should arrive in three memory
combinations – 6/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB. Some or all of them will be
sold in two colors - Black and Purple. Final details, such as prices and
availability, should be revealed soon.
