Garmin has launched the D2 Mach 1 Pro, a feature-laden smartwatch, for the global market. The Mach series targeted at persons in the aviation industry comes with a standout feature which is a built-in flashlight. The new Garmin D2 Mach 1 Pro is the successor to the D2 Mach 1 which was launched last year. The aviator wearable device with a 51mm titanium bezel. The flashlight has adjustable brightness and features a pulse Ox sensor.
Garmin D2 Mach 1 Pro is a premium
smartwatch designed for aviators. It has a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a
resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. It has a redshift mode that helps to filter out
blue light for enhanced night vision. The smartwatch also features aviation
weather notifications, airport information, and multi-GNSS support. The aviator
can switch the D2 Mach 1 Pro to the Emergency Mode which provides useful
information like the best glide speed, glide time, approximate glide distance,
and directions to the nearest airport. The Pulse Ox sensor helps to monitor the
user’s oxygen levels at a higher altitude.
The D2 Mach 1 Pro smartwatch features a
Jet Lag Adviser to help you adapt to the trip and eliminate adverse effects
from your last trip. The gadget also supports contactless payment via Garmin
Pay. The Garmin ECG app provides app support for the smartwatch and there are
30+ sports apps available on the D2 Mach 1 Pro. The smartwatch has a battery
life that is up to 25 days on standard usage.
The Garmin D2 Mach 1 Pro is available
globally and the earliest deliveries will be in November 2023 for US customers.
