Microsoft recently scheduled an event on September 21st to introduce new Surface devices. The invite just showed a Windows logo and different colours. Earlier rumors said that the company will update its Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Laptop Go, and Surface Go devices.
Now the specifications of the devices have
surfaced. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 is rumoured to get the Intel Core
i7-13800H 45W chip from the “Raptor Lake” family, 16GB / 32GB RAM, 512 GB / 1
TB SSD, more USB Type-C ports, while retaining the 14.4-inch (2400 x 1600
pixels) 3:2 120Hz PixelSense display. The Surface Laptop Go 3 is said to come
with an Intel Core i5-1235U chip from the “Alder Lake” family, 8 GB RAM and 128
GB / 256 GB SSD.
The next Surface Go model is said to get
the Intel N200 quad-core processor from the “Alder Lake N” series. The report
also says that the Surface Go 4 might not be the final name of the laptop. It
is said to get 8 GB RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB options, so there will be
no 4 GB RAM model like the previous models.
The new Surface models are expected to be
available from October, and the pricing is expected to increase slightly
compared to the previous generation.
