Lenovo Legion 9i


Lenovo revealed a new gaming laptop under the Legion lineup featuring AI Tuning and Integrated Liquid-Cooling system. This will be Lenovo's current flagship laptop and the main spotlight would be the Liquid-Cooling technology inside. The brand has partnered with Cooler Master to do this and ensure the machine can run to its maximum 230W TDP while maintaining an optimal temperature.

The said cooling system will activate when the RTX 4090 GPU reaches 84 degrees Celsius to keep the temperature low. Apart from that, the device uses AI-tuning and, a triple fan air cooling system as well to maintain the performance under heavy usage. When it comes to the screen it uses a 16-inch PureSight Mini-LED panel with 165Hz variable refresh rate and 3.2K resolution, DCI-P3, sRGB color space, and 94 percent screen-to-body-ratio.

Inside, it is powered by the 5.6GHz Intel Core i9-13980HX 24-core CPU, 32GB or 64GB DDR5 dual channel RAM, and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. For battery, it uses 99.99WHr capacity that charges using a 330W Slim adapter while it also supports 140W USB-C PD both included in the box. Other features are a 1080 webcam with E-Shutter, Nahimic by SteelSeries 3D audio (2x  2W speakers), and an RGB keyboard.

For I/O, it has 1x audio combo jack, 1x SD Card reader 3.0, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x E-Shutter button, 1x DC-Input, 2x Thunderbolt 4 (3.2 Gen, DP 1.4, 140W PD), 1x HDMI 2.1 and 1RJ45. For wireless connectivity, 2 x 2 Intel WiFi7 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1.

As for software, the laptop runs Windows 11 Pro or Windows 11 Home. Lenovo Legion 9i - starts at EUR 4,499.
