Garmin has unveiled its latest health and fitness smartwatch, the vívoactive 5. This new smartwatch is designed with a lightweight aluminum bezel and a silicone band. Its 1.2″ AMOLED display makes it easy to see your health and fitness data, receive smart notifications, and more. The vívoactive 5 smartwatch offers an impressive 11-day battery life, functioning as a sleep coach with sleep scores, personalized advice, and sleep stage tracking, including naps. It also monitors Pulse Ox and HRV.
Each morning, it summarizes your sleep,
recovery status, HRV, and weather data when connected to your smartphone. It
suggests optimal nap times for your well-being. Additionally, it tracks your
Body Battery energy levels throughout the day, providing insights into how
sleep, daily activities, and stress impact your energy, helping you plan
activity and rest.
With over 30 preloaded GPS and indoor
sports apps, it suits various activities, including wheelchair-specific
features. It supports guided meditation and offers two font sizes for
notifications and workout data. Stay connected with text messages, emails, and
alerts on your wrist, even responding with an on-watch keyboard (Android).
Safety features include live location sharing and contactless payments (Garmin
Pay).
Enjoy phone-free listening by downloading
songs from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer (subscription required). Access
health and fitness data in the Garmin Connect app and download apps and watch
faces from the Connect IQ Store. It’s also water-resistant up to 5 ATM.
The Garmin vívoactive 5, priced at USD
299.99, comes in a variety of color combinations such as
black/slate, ivory/cream gold, navy/metallic navy, and orchid/metallic orchid.
