vivo Y27

The vivo Y27 was certified earlier this month, and today, the 4G version of the phone was introduced to multiple markets. It arrives with a Helio G85 chipset, a 50 MP dual camera and an affordable price tag of MYR 699 (US$ 155) in Malaysia and INR 14,999 (US$ 185) in India. The vivo Y27 comes with a 6.64” IPS LCD and Full HD+ resolution. It has a waterdrop notch for the 8 MP selfie camera, while the main shooter has a 2 MP portrait sensor for a company. The battery is 5,000 mAh, which supports 44W FlashCharge.

This smartphone looks familiar, and that’s because it is the same body as the vivo Y35+, available in China. However, the Mediatek chipset is different, and with the impressive fast charging, we can treat the Y27 as a new device.

The phone might be an affordable midranger with 128 GB storage and no micro SD slot, but it does have some impressive features, such as the latest Android 13 with Funtouch 13 on top and 6 GB RAM that can be expanded with 6 GB more through the Extended RAM 3.0 feature.

On top of these specs, the vivo Y27 is also gorgeous - the Sea Blue option is a lovely Azure color, while Burgundy Black is exactly what it sounds like - a Black panel with Burgundy tint. Vivo India skipped the Blue variant and opted for a Garden Green. The phone is already available for purchase through the company website.
