The upcoming OnePlus 12 has been leaked today in some CAD-based renders. The smartphone will be the first OnePlus to feature a periscope zoom camera, as has been rumored a few times before. The camera module design is highly reminiscent of the OnePlus 11's, just with alterations required by the presence of the periscope. The main and ultrawide sensors are on the top 'row' in the island, next to each other, while the periscope occupies the bottom 'row' all by itself. The Hasselblad collaboration is still going strong and the logo is in between these 'rows'.
The screen is slightly curved, and the
hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera is centered, which, believe it or not,
is a huge change for OnePlus, as even the 11 has it on the left side. The
display is tipped to measure 6.7", and of course it will be a 120 Hz QHD+
OLED.
The OnePlus 12 is most likely going to be
powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which should get unveiled in
October. According to recent revelations, the OnePlus 12 will have a 5,000 mAh
battery with 100W or 150W fast wired charging support.
Rumor has it the main and ultrawide
cameras will both have 50 MP resolution, while the periscope zoom camera is
said to opt for a 64 MP OmniVision sensor. Selfies are to be taken care of by a
32 MP snapper.
