The Nothing Phone (2), launching on July 11, has appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is hardly a surprise since the processor was officially confirmed to power the Phone (2) by Carl Pei in May.
The Nothing Phone (2) unit that passed
through the benchmark database runs Android 13 and has 12GB RAM onboard. In the
first run, it scored 1,733 and 4,207 points in Geekbench's single and
multi-core tests, respectively. And in another, it scored 1,739 points in
single-core and 3,983 points in multi-core tests.
Nothing hasn't detailed the Phone (2)'s
specs sheet yet, but the brand has confirmed the smartphone will pack a
6.7" display and a 4,700 mAh battery. Nothing also promised to deliver
three years of Android and four years of security updates to the Phone (2) to
make it more sustainable.
