Durabook has unveiled the latest upgrade to its U11 Rugged Tablet. The tablet comes with features and functionality that place it as the most versatile 11-inch rugged tablet. It is equipped with the 12th gen Intel processor providing higher processing speeds by up to 225%. Duraook is an innovative manufacturer that focuses on building purpose-built rugged computing solutions. The refreshed U11 Rugged Tablet also comes with several architectural innovations that put it in the pole position of versatility. The new tablet is several notches above the standard requirements for use by professionals. The Coolfinity fanless thermal solution is added to the mix of innovations for the U11. This allows the device to operate silently even in extreme environments.
The new Durabook U11 is powered by the
Intel Core i7 and i5 processors providing more than a two-fold performance jump
from previous processors (10th gen). The Intel Iris Xe Graphics helps to boost
the U11’s computing power in processing large amounts of data, images, and
video in real-time. The form factor of the device, in addition to its trove of
features and its ruggedness, makes it a great tool for professionals. According
to Durabook, the U11 was purposely optimized and bolstered to establish the
most versatile device in the class. The rock-solid design of the upgrade U11
meets the MIL-STD-810H standard and it can withstand falls up to 6ft. It also
has IP66 water-resistant rating and is certified with MIL-STD-461G.
The Durabook U11 Rugged Tablet is designed
for work in hazardous and extreme environments. It also has a quick-release
NVMe SSD storage and operates within the 20ºC and 60ºC temperature range. The
tablet can be used by the police, military, and field service professionals in mining,
manufacturing, oil & gas, and allied fields. The tablet can be used to
provide remote support, capture and access information, and run diagnostics
with the highest accuracy even in extreme conditions.
Other features of the U11 include an FHD
display, 10-point capacitive multi-touch, and DynaVue feature for exceptional
viewing in direct sunlight. The display offers up to 1,000 nits of brightness
and its battery can operate for up to 20 hours. The U11 can also be equipped
with a bridge battery for enhanced operability. The new U11 Rugged Tablet is
priced starting at US$ 2,199 and comes with a 3-year Accidental Damage Warranty.
