The Chuwi UBook X Windows tablet has been announced. The latest Chuwi tablet is powered by the Intel Core i5-10210Y processor and has a 12-inch display. Chuwi is offering the UBook X as a budget and a pretty good Windows tablet. It supports an optional keyboard and digital pen.
The Chuwi UBook X is equipped with the
10th-gen Intel Core i5-10210Y processor with four cores and 8 threads. The
processor was first released in 2019 but it still offers some performance
mileage to the tablet even with newer chips already in the market. The Chuwi
UBook X has an IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. It has
a 3:2 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of 340 nits. It has a magnesium
allow and polycarbonate body and dimensions of 11.5 x 8,2 x 0.4 inches and a
38Wh battery.
The UBook X weighs about 810g and supports
Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. It has several ports including USB-C (for charging
and data), USB-A 3.0, micro HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet also has a
microSD card reader. The keyboard can be connected to the bottom of the tablet
via a set of pogo pins while its built-in kickstand provides angular
positioning for the tablet. The optional pen is the Chuwi HiPen H7 stylus with
up to 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
An identical model to the UBook X is the
UBook XPro which comes with a bigger 5,000mAh battery than the UBook X. The
Chuwi UBook X tablet is being offered at a discounted price of US$ 359 for the
8GB+256GB model, with up to US$ 80 chalked off its original price. There are added
costs for the accessories of the tablet with a US$ 40 bundle offering a detachable
keyboard and pressure-sensitive pen. The UBook XPro is almost identical to the
UBook X 2023 and it is offered at a discounted price of US$ 399 at the least.
