Apple Beats Studio Pro were spotted on the FCC and IMDA certification sites with model number A2924 last month. The supposed Beats Studio 3 successors are expected to launch soon as a new report has now leaked their complete specifications. The headphones are expected to include a battery life that extends up to 40 hours, support for head-tracked spatial audio, and a 3.5mm jack for wired listening.
9to5Mac has gotten hold of complete
specifications as well as detailed renders of the upcoming Beats Studio Pro.
The headphones will support Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and
Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. The Spatial Audio is also said to include dynamic
head tracking.
Reportedly, they will feature two custom
40 mm drivers claimed to deliver near-zero distortion even at high volume.
Beats Studio Pro will come with both a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
What will make you rub your eyes in disbelief is the fact that Apple will
include a standard 3.5 mm audio cable in the box along with a USB-C to USB-C
cable.
Further, 9to5Mac says the Beats Studio Pro
headphones will not utilize an Apple-designed chip like the H2 chip found in
the latest AirPods Pro. Instead, these headphones will feature a
custom-designed Beats chip, which is specifically designed to enhance
cross-platform support on both Apple and Android devices.
The upcoming Beats Studio Pro headphones
are rumored to have a battery life of up to 40 hours with active noise
cancellation (ANC) disabled. This is almost double the official battery life of
the AirPods Max, which is 20 hours with ANC enabled. However, the battery life
of the Beats Studio Pro is said to drop to 24 hours with ANC enabled. The Beats
Studio Pro headphones are expected to weigh 260 grams, which is 32% lighter
than the AirPods Max, which weigh 384 grams. Apple is rumored to launch the
Beats Studio Pro on July 19 for US$ 349.99, which is significantly less than the
AirPods Max’s price of US$ 549.
