Vivo has launched many smartphones in the Y series recently, including the Vivo Y35+, Vivo Y36, and more. These phones are available in different regions with some limited to China. The company is also gearing up to launch a budget smartphone soon, called the Vivo Y02t. It has leaked extensively in the past. And while we wait for the official announcement, the Y02t has now been spotted on the TDRA website, hinting at an imminent launch.
A device with the same name is already
available for purchase in the Indian market. However, this new variant is aimed
at the global market. Vivo Y02t has appeared on the TDRA website bearing the
model number V2254. Apart from the model number, we don’t get anything
interesting from the certification. Vivo Y02t is already official in India and
we can expect the global version to feature the same specifications. The
smartphone gets a 6.5 inches IPS LCD with a 270 PPI density and a screen
resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It measures 164 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm and it weighs
186 grams.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek
Helio P30 processor paired with Mali-G71 MP2, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal
storage. The handset gets only a single 8MP camera on the rear while on the
front there is a 5 MP selfie shooter. The device is fueled by a 5000mAh battery
that supports 18W wired charging. It is offered in Black and Gold colors and
runs Android 13 out of the box. The Indian version of the smartphone is already
listed on Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 9,999.
