UZE has opened an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the Bold-2 graphene power bank. The company says Bold-2 is the world’s fastest-charging graphene power bank. It has a 290W combined output and can charge up to six devices simultaneously. UZE in a press release introducing the Bold-2 says the power bank is the ultimate portable battery solution.
The design of the Bold-2 was motivated by
UZE’s desire to develop the ultimate power bank for those with a dynamic,
multi-device lifestyle. It is equipped with four USB-C charging ports and two
wireless charging pads. It can charge 6 devices at the same time and this
includes a 140W charging port for a MacBook. The wireless charging pads of the
Bold-2 are MagSafe-compatible and Qi-certified. This can be used to charge an
array of compatible devices including smartwatches, iPads, iPhones, and
smartphones.
The Bold-2 comes with a significantly
improved lifespan than traditional lithium batteries. In fact, the Bold-2 is up
to 4 times better than traditional models. This is because the Bold-2 uses the
lithium polymer, graphene cells with up to 2,000 battery life cycles. The power
bank is made of aircraft-grade anodized aluminum. This means that the body of
the Bold-2 has excellent heat dissipation and shock protection capabilities.
The power bank comes with the latest charging protocol PD3.2 and a programmable
power supply (PPS). This allows for charging devices at optimal speeds.
The Bold-2 has an upgraded OLED screen for
monitoring the charging process on all ports. The OLED also indicates the
amount of battery life remaining on the power bank. UZE’s campaign for the
Bold-2 is now live on Indiegogo with an offer price of US$ 159. The estimated
delivery date for the UZE Bold-2 is November 2023. UZE had previously had a
successful Kickstarter campaign for its first power bank, the Bold. UZE
garnered up to US$ 630,000 from the Kickstarter campaign with subscribers coming
from about 50 countries.
