HUAWEI officially launches one of its premium smartwatches in the Philippines. To recap, the device features a classy super durable sapphire glass watch dial, a nanocrystalline ceramic watch bezel/rear case, and a zirconium-based liquid metal front case. The brand claims it has 16 water-resistant structures including the ISO 22810 water resistance standard and EN13310 device equipment standard which has the capability to withstand up to 110-meter depth underwater.
When it comes to the strap, the device is available in aviation-grade titanium material or the HNBR strap with high elasticity, lightweight, and skin-friendly. Moreover, HUAWEI says it is "highly durable" with water resistance and low-temperature tolerance. In terms of display, the watch is equipped with a 1.5-inch circular LTPO AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 resolution. Another worth mentioning is the Expedition mode a function made for outdoor enthusiasts.
It employs a dual-frequency five-system GNSS positioning technology in order to provide reliable mapping and the ability to set waypoints even when you're far from cities, as well as SpO2 blood oxygen level monitoring at high altitudes.
The smartwatch has a 530mAh battery with up to 2 weeks of battery life on a single charge or around 8 days for more active users but still depends on the usage. HUAWEI says the device can be full from 0 percent to 100 percent in just 60 minutes of charging while it also supports Qi Wireless charging.
