The vanilla Honor 90 comes with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, but Honor boosted the mightiest Cortex-A710 core from 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz. The phone is built around a 6.7” OLED screen with 2664 x 1200 pixels, 1 billion colors and 120 Hz refresh rate. According to the official website, peak brightness is 1,600 nits.
The selfie camera is the very
same 50 MP f/2.4 shooter as on the Pro. The 200 MP main and 12 MP ultra-wide
cameras on the back are also shared, but the third camera is a basic 2 MP depth
sensor instead of a telephoto unit. There is no OIS here, but the phone will
have EIS.
The battery here comes with
66W charging and is also compatible with 40W Power Delivery if you don't have
the supplied proprietary charger at hand. Neither the Honor 90 nor the Honor 90
Pro support wireless charging.
Honor 90 also comes in four
colors - Green, Black, and Ice Feather Blue are the same as the Pro. The
fourth, Silver, has a Star Diamond pattern and is subjectively the prettiest of
all. The price for the 12/256 GB version is CNY 2,499 (US$ 355/€ 330), the 16/256 GB
variant is CNY 2,799 (US$ 395/€ 370), while the 16/512 GB option is priced at
CNY 2,999 (US$ 425/€ 395). The sale will begin on June 7, with the phone available
at the Hi Honor store in China.
