Last May, the Xiaomi TV ES Pro series debuted in China. The company initially introduced the television in a single 86-inch size. Later in July, the firm released the TV in three more sizes, such as 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. Now, almost a year after its debut, the television comes in a 90-inch variant as well. The new 90-inch version of Xiaomi TV ES Pro is priced at ¥ 9,999 (US$ 1,445). It is already up for sale.
For the unaware, the Xiami TV ES Pro is
primarily targeted at gamers. The 90-inch variant retains the 100-level
backlight partition and 1000 nits peak brightness from the original 86-inch
version. These two features are not available in other sizes. Additionally, the
refresh rate has been increased to 144Hz from 120Hz but the resolution remains
4K (3840×2160 pixels). The 10-bit panel offers Dolby Vision support and it is
complemented by Dolby Atmos-supported 30W speakers (2 x 15W).
Being a gaming-focused television, it
arrives with 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports that support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and
ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). There are also other important ports, like 1 x
HDMI 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, optical, AV, antenna, and LAN. The
television is powered by an unnamed chipset featuring a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73
CPU and an ARM Mali G52 MC1 GPU. The chip is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB
storage.
Finally, the TV features a metal frame,
far filed microphones, and boots MIUI TV software that has Mijia smart home
integration and supports all the leading streaming services in China.
