Rumors previously suggested the iQOO Neo 8 series will arrive this month, and today we have an official confirmation. The vivo brand will launch its new smartphones on May 23, and for the first time in the history of Neo phones, there will be a Pro version. The official teasers revealed a Dimensity 9200+ chipset and vivo V1+ ISP, but we have yet to learn whether they will be reserved for the iQOO Neo 8 Pro or the vanilla version get them as well.
The Neo phones will have three shooters,
and this time the camera island is more visually pleasing, unlike the chaotic
arrangement on the previous Neo 7 series. The main camera will have OIS, while
the back panel’s hero color is red leather, which should be good for handling.
The official website revealed there will
be a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage combination, and the phone will be compatible
with Neo gadgets such as a side-mounted gaming pad or an air-cooling
attachment. There are two weeks until the event in which we expect iQOO to reveal
more details, specs, and features.
