iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo known for launching premium and gaming-focused smartphones, is now gearing up to launch a tablet in the Chinese market. According to a new report from Digital Chat Station, the upcoming iQOO tablet has been named iQOO Pad and is expected to be similar to the Vivo Pad 2, which was recently launched in China.
Further, the report adds that the iQOO Pad
will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor, but more details
about the device remain unknown at this time. However, most of the
specifications of the tablet will be similar to the Vivo Pad 2. In that case,
the device is likely to feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K screen
resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, and a P3 color gamut.
It will be running with the Android
operating system out-of-the-box, but it remains to be seen which version of the
custom interface it gets. We are also expecting the tablet to have support for
USB 3.2 Gen 1 and come packed with a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W
fast charging. As of now, there’s no information about the launch timeline for
the iQOO Pad but given that the device has been leaked online, we expect the
launch to take place in the coming months in the Chinese market.
This month, Vivo is expected to launch
several new devices in the market, including Vivo S17e, S17, and S17 Pro. On
the other hand, iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro in
China.
