Alongside its new flagship foldables, vivo announced its vivo Pad2 in China. The latest tablet from the brand brings a 144Hz screen, Dimensity 9000 chipset and a massive 10,000 mAh battery. Pad2 brings a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with 1800 x 2880px resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel sports a 7:5 aspect ratio which should come in handy when dealing with vertical content. Pad 2 brings metal unibody design and quad speakers with special Golden Ear tuning.
The tablet is equipped with a Dimensity
9000 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There’s a 13MP main
cam on the back alongside a 2MP macro lens while the front houses an 8MP selfie
cam. Keeping things running is a beefy 10,000 mAh battery that supports 44W
fast charging.
The software front is covered by OriginOS
3 based on Android 13. vivo also introduced a new keyboard cover case with a
built-in trackpad and a second-generation stylus that attaches to the side of
the tablet via magnets.
vivo Pad2 comes in grey, blue and purple
colors and starts at CNY 2,499 (US$ 364) for the baseline 8/128GB trim and goes up
to CNY 3,399 (US$ 495) for the 12/512GB model. International pricing and
availability were not detailed yet.
