ROG and ACRONYM have collaborated once again to introduce the gaming tablet that they claim will reshape the future of mobile computing. To recap, the Republic of Gamers and ACRONYM first collaborated to create a Special Edition version of the Zephyrus G14 in 2020. Now, the two brands have introduced their latest project, a special edition of the ROG Flow Z13. The Flow Z13 originally debuted back in 2012. ROG called it the world's most powerful gaming tablet and incredibly versatile. Whether or not this is true is up for debate.
ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 gaming tablet
with April Fools-worthy product name launched! The limited edition gaming
tablet has an Intel Core i9-13900H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, and a 165Hz
13.4-inch QHD+ IPS display with HDR and Stylus support. Alongside are 32GB
LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, and a 56WHrs 4-cell Li-ion battery.
I/O includes a 3.5mm combo audio jack, a
USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C, a Thunderbolt 4, a ROG XG Mobile
Interface port, and a microSD Card reader. The chiclet keyboard is backlit with
a single light. It has a 13MP webcam and a 5MP IR camera too.
For audio, it has a two-speaker system
with Smart Amplifier Technology, Dolby Atmos, and AI noise-canceling
technology. It connects wirelessly thru WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The new Flow
Z13 ACRNM RMT02 is made of custom-machine aluminum that the brand says gives it
rigidity that allows the frame to have a robust carrying method. Rubber holds
are thoughtfully placed along the rear to provide grip no matter the
orientation the tablet is in.
The tablet incorporates design elements
from concept artist Phil Saunders of Iron Man suit design fame. It has an
integrated kickstand that transforms the RMT02 from a laptop form factor in a
landscape orientation to a gaming and content consumption viewing. It comes with an included 130W GaN USB-C type
power adapter, cables stylus that fits snugly in a waterproof carrying case
designed to meld seamlessly with the device's unique styling.
Lastly, the tablet measures 30.2 x 21.4 x
2.00 cm and weighs 1.32 kilograms. ASUS ROG Flow Z13-ACRMN RMT-02 GZ301VIC
priced at USD 2,499. It will be available this April 3 at the ASUS eShop and on
Amazon in the United States. There is no word yet on International or
Philippine pricing and availability.
