MINISFORUM NPB7 mini PC


MINISFORUM has started receiving pre-orders for the MINISFORUM NPB7 mini PC. The NPB7 is powered by the Intel Core i7-13700H processor and two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports. This comes on the heels of the recent release of a smaller and inexpensive PC with support for up to four 4K displays and the 12th-gen Intel Core H processors. The new MINISFORUM NPB7 has the 13th-gen Core i7 processor.

The MINISFORUM NPB7 and the earlier MINISFORUM NAB6 share several similarities. In fact, the new model is a refreshed version of the NAB6 and comes with DDR5 memory, unlike the DDR2 in the NAB6. It is priced higher than its earlier sibling although the price remains inexpensive. The gadget is equipped with a heat sink and fan. Customers can also get an active SSD heat sink with a built-in fan.

The Intel Core i7-13700H processor is equipped with 14 cores consisting of 6 Performance and 8 Efficiency cores. It is a 45W, 2D thread chip with a 1.5GHz Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics module. The MINISFORUM NPB7’s case can be easily opened and allows for an easy upgrade or replacement of its components. There is an assortment of ports for the mini PC including HDMI, USB4 Type-C (with DP Alt mode), USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-A and Type-C), as well as USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A. Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E are also supported in the mini PC.

The MINISFORUM NPB7 is available for pre-order and will ship by mid-May 2023. The product will retail at a starting price of US$ 609 for the barebones model. However, the corresponding pre-order price starts at US$ 489+US$ 120 for memory accessories. The highest memory configuration is the 64GB/ 1TB model with a pre-order price of US$ 799. The corresponding original price of the model is US$ 999.
