Recently Acer launched its two performance premium convertible Chromebooks. The two laptops come in a sleek aluminum design and flexible 360-degree hinge function so you can use them as a tablet too. Acer claims they are made from fully-recyclable materials as a way to care for the environment. Another highlight they have is the webcam that can provide QHD 2K resolution for clearer video calls.
Both use a 14-inch IPS display WUXGA with
a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100 percent sRGB coverage providing color-accurate
images on the screen. The display also features Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla
glass on the touchscreen to prevent odor-causing bacteria apart from the
toughness it offers. Inside the standard Spin 714 model can use up to Intel Evo
13th Gen Core i7 processor.
On the other hand, the Enterprise Spin 714
Edition can use up to Intel vPro Core i7 13th gen processor which brings
multi-layer security for business consumers.
This model also gives access to Chrome Enterprise Upgrade featuring
built-in business software of ChromeOS. Acer says IT users can easily drop ship
devices to employees with zero-touch enrollment and let them seamlessly manage
and secure devices while reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). In addition,
it lets users free from usual administrative tasks, facilitates collaborations,
and secures access to data and apps for the cloud workforce.
However, Acer did not mention the memory
configuration for both devices. But they claim that the two Chromebooks can
last up to 10 hours. If you ever run out of juice you can plug them for 30
minutes for that extra 4 hours of use. Other features noted are stylus support,
DTS speakers, an optional fingerprint reader, a US MIL-STD-810H durability
rating, a backlit keyboard, and Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad
On the connectivity side, they have WiFI
6E, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI, and 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports. For software, the two
machines run Chromebook OS with access to the Google Play Store for a wide
array of applications. No price and availability have been detailed by Acer and
they may vary per region as well. In addition, the brand suggested that you
