Honor’s latest entry-level device - the Honor X8a brings a 100MP main camera and a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset alongside 6/8GB RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. The back houses a 100 MP main cam with an f/1.9 lens and autofocus alongside a 5MP ultrawide cam and a 2MP macro module. There’s a 16MP selfie cam housed in a punch-hole cutout on the display. The software side is covered by Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 while the battery comes in at 4,500 mAh and supports 22.5W fast charging.
Honor X8a comes in Midnight Black,
Titanium Silver and Cyan Lake colors. The phone will cost £ 220 for the 6/128GB
trim in the UK and is already on pre-order from Honor’s official website. Pre-orders
completed until February 14 get a free Honor Band 6. Deliveries are expected to
start on February 15. Honor has also listed the X8a in Malaysia and the UAE and
we can expect the phone to appear in even more markets during the coming weeks.
