Honor will launch the Magic 5 series at the end of the month, and we expect four devices in the lineup. The mightier two, the Pro and Ultimate, just appeared at 3C (China Compulsory Certification), revealing their support for 66W (11V/6A) charging. This is a step down from their respective predecessors that featured with 100W charging.
The PGT-AN10 (the model number of the
Honor Magic 5 Pro) and the PGT-AN20 (that’s the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate) will
support the HW-110600C00 charger, which comes with Honor SuperCharge at 66W.
The phones can also charge at 40W, provided you have the appropriate legacy
adapter at hand.
Honor might be stepping back on the
charging, but we expect the Pro and Ultimate to leap forward with the new
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Reports suggested the phone might have quad 50MP
cameras, and a periscope lens will also be present.
