The market of smartwatches is getting more competitive with the addition of a new wearable. Fire-Boltt took the wraps off its latest smartwatch – the Fire-Boltt Apollo. The new watch comes with an AMOLED screen with a smooth refresh rate. It also has many features to make it stand against the competition. It comes with style and features, and also an appealing price.
The new Fire-Boltt Apollo comes with a
round dial design with a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel. It comes with 466 x 466 pixels
of resolution, 600 nits of peak brightness, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The
wearable also supports Always-On mode, and thanks to the AMOLED it will not
drain your battery. The Fire-Boltt Apollo comes with a Bluetooth calling
features with a dedicated microphone and speaker. It allows the user to make
and receive calls straight from the watch, as long as it is paired with your
smartphone, of course.
The Fire-Boltt Apollo also has a wide
array of faces and three different UI styles. Also, there are smart controls
that allow the users to control music and camera with a single click. The watch
will also show notifications. So you can use it without the need to constantly
check the smartphone. Unfortunately, there is no GPS. So for certain
activities, you’ll still need to carry the phone.
As for fitness tracking, the Fire-Boltt
Apollo supports over 100 sports modes. It comes with health monitoring features
like a SpO2 blood oxygen reader, 24×7 heart rate monitoring, a blood pressure
reader, and more. As usual, there is also a sleep-tracking mode and a sedentary
reminder. The wearable also offers an IP67 rating to withstand sweat and
splashes. Moreover, it has a 7-day battery life and includes a daily activity
tracker.
For now, the Fire-Boltt Appollo seems to
be launched exclusively in the Indian market. But we won’t discard extended
availability in the future. The watch comes in three color options – Pink,
Black, and Grey. It’s up for orders on Flipkart with an INR 2,999 (US$ 36) price
tag.
