Apart from a number of Chromebooks, Lenovo also unveiled a new laptop called the Yoga 13w Gen 2. This new machine is targeted at the educational sector as well. It comes with a plain Gray matte finish for its top and body while the display has a size 13.3-inch with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits max brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus Protection.
Inside, Lenovo says the laptop comes with
Ryzen 7000 Series processors. However, they did not go into detail about which
exact chips are going to be used. But based on GizmoChina's assumption, this
new laptop version could be based on the AMD Cezanne APU similar to its
predecessor. They continued that the Lenovo Yoga 13w Gen 2 could likely feature
a Ryzen 5 7530U and Ryzen 7 7730U chips. While it is also expected that the
machine will have improved or identical performance to its previous variants.
Moving forward, it comes with 16GB DDR4
RAM clocked at 3200MHz and 512GB of storage.They also mentioned a 51WHr battery
capacity alongside a 65W fast charger. Others are a 1080p web camera w/ Facial
recognition via Windows Hello, 2x 5MP rear cameras, a fingerprint reader, and a
backlit keyboard.
For ports, the machine is equipped with 1x
HDMI, 2x USB-A, and 1x USB-C. While for wireless connectivity, there's WiFi
included and an option for LTE. Currently, the brand hasn't said the price
information but they will be launched this coming April 2023. There's also a
possibility of more storage configurations although these are unknown at the
moment.
