LeEco just announced a new phone for the Spring Festival (the Chinese New Year, which is on January 22 this year). The LeEco S1 Pro is a midranger that has clearly been heavily inspired by the iPhone 14 Pro, right down to the Dynamic Island. It's actionable too, similar to the Apple flagship.
Looks are where the similarities end,
however. The LeEco S1 Pro has a 6.5-inch 720x1600px LCD of a standard 60Hz
refresh rate. It's powered by a 12nm Zhanrui T7510 chipset with 4 1.8GHz
Cortex-A75 cores, and 4 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics are handled by an
Imagination 9446 GPU with a clock speed of 800MHz. There's a single 8/128GB
configuration.
The LeEco S1 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery
with 10W charging. There's a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main camera on the
rear. The LeEco S1 Pro has Huawei's Mobile Services instead of GMS, but that's
hardly surprising since Google's suite is unavailable in China.
LeTV has the LeEco S1 Pro up for pre-order
at CNY 899 for the 8/128GB model.
