The Lava X3 (2022) entry-level phone has been available for pre-orders since Dec. 20 in India. The reason why it is called the 2022 edition is that the company launched a phone named the Lava X3 way back in 2016. As confirmed by the brand, the X3 is available for purchase starting today.
The Lava X3 is priced at Rs 6,999 (US$ 84)
in India. With this price, it rivals the likes of the Redmi A1 series, the
Infinix Smart 6, and the Tecno Pop 6 Pro. The X3 is available for purchase
through Amazon India. It comes in three colors: Charcoal Black, Arctic Blue,
and Luster Blue. Those who pre-ordered it will receive the Lava Probuds N11
neckband, which is priced at Rs 2,299 (US$ 28).
The Lava X3 (2022) houses a 6.5-inch IPS
LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600
pixels, 269 ppi pixel density, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the X3
has the Helio A22 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. The X3 houses a
4,000mAh battery, which supports 10W charging via the USB-C port. The phone
runs on an Android 12 (Go edition) OS that offers a near-stock Android experience.
For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot.
The X3 has a 5-megapixel camera for
selfies. The back panel of the device has an 8-megapixel primary camera, a VGA
camera, and an LED flash. Other features of the X3 include dual SIM support, 4G
VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, face unlock, and a
