In a couple of weeks, Xiaomi will officially release its new smartphone. According to reports, the Xiaomi 13 series will launch before the end of the year. This series will be the successor to the Xiaomi 12 series which launched in December last year. While this new series will have different models, the company will launch at least two models this year. From the rumours so far, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro should launch this year. Recall that the Xiaomi 13 with model number 2211133C had previously appeared on the Chinese 3C certification. Now, the latest database to list this smartphone is GeekBench benchmark.
Unlike the 3C certification, GeekBench
listing reveals some specs of this coming flagship series. Also, with its
listing on GeekBench, this new series appear to be very close to its launch.
This listing reveals that the Xiaomi 13 series is a flagship in all aspects. On
GeekBench 5 database, the model number of this phone is 2211133C. On the single
core test, this device scores 1497 points. In addition, on the multi core test,
the Xiaomi 13 scores 5089 points. The codename of this device is “kamala” and
it uses an octa-core processor. This chip uses a 1 + 3 + 4 design.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 13 will come with
Android’s latest flagship chip. This device will come with a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM. This listing tests a 12GB of RAM
model. However, we expect the series to have a lower RAM model, like 8GB RAM.
Also, the listing reveals that this device will come with Android 13 out of the
box. There have been several leaks of the design and specs of the Xiaomi 13
series. This device will come with a flat edge design. Also, its listing on 3C
reveals that it will support up to 67W fast charge.
