The Chinese manufacturer vivo today announced another addition to its iQOO brand - the iQOO U3X 5G. The phone, initially available only in China, has a Snapdragon 480 chipset, two cameras on the back and a big 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
If the specs look familiar, that’s because
the vivo iQOO U3X is a rebranded vivo Y31s. It comes with the very same 6.58”
LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup on the
back consists of a 13MP main and 2MP depth units, while the front-facing camera
has an 8MP sensor, fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
The iQOO U3X 5G runs Origin OS that also
has Multi-Turbo 5.0 - for allocating all of the available processing power to
gaming when needed. There’s even the so-called “Memory Fusion”, in which if the
8GB RAM is not enough, the phone uses 3GB from the storage to dump some of the
data.
Speaking about memory, vivo is offering
the iQOO U3X 5G in three variants - 4/128 GB, 6/64 GB, 8/128 GB. It can be
purchased on JD.com and through the company website in Magic Blue or Elegant
Gray, with prices starting CNY 1,199 (US$ 185/€ 155).
