The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G unveiled last month has debuted in the US. It comes in a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration and has one color option - black. You can buy the unlocked model, priced at US$ 300, from Samsung's official website or pick one from Samsung's Experience Stores across the States. The smartphone will also be sold through AT&T, T-Mobile, and additional retailers.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is powered by
the Snapdragon 695 SoC and runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.
It's built around a 6.6" 120Hz FullHD+ LCD with a notch for the 8MP selfie
camera. Around the back is a quad camera setup comprising 50MP primary (with
OIS), 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G packs a 5,000
mAh battery charged through a USB-C port at up to 25W. The rest of its
highlights include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint reader,
and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. The smartphone also
has an NFC chip onboard.
Update: Samsung UK has also revealed the
pricing and availability details of the Galaxy A23 5G. It will be offered in
offered in Black, White, and Light Blue colors in the UK but will come in a
single memory configuration - 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. You can buy one
starting September 16 for £ 289 through Samsung's stores and other UK retailers.
