Urbanista has just launched its latest pair of truly wireless earbuds. The new models is called Phoenix earbuds. While a new TWS model in the market isn’t exactly big news, this model arrives with a feature that makes it stand out from most other wireless earphones. The Urbanista Phoenix TWS earbuds arrives with a charging case that is powered by light. In other words, if you run out of juice on the charging case, you wouldn’t have to charge the case it again or carry a separate power bank with you. The charging case features Exeger’s Powerfoyle solar cell material, which allows for the Phoenix TWS models to be charged up through any kinds of light (be it indoor or outdoor lighting).
Apart from this, the earphones also offers
up to 8 hours of audio playback, with the charging case offering an additional
32 hours of battery life reserve. In terms of design, the charging case itself
is slightly taller than most other offerings in the market, but that is due to
the additional of solar cell materials. Meanwhile, the earbuds itself features
an in ear and stem design. It also offers ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and a
transparency mode as well.
Other features include touch and voice
controls, IPX4 water resistance, and Urbanista mobile app support for more
customization. Notably, the Powerfoyle tech was previously also seen in
Urbanista’s Los Angeles over ear headphones as well. The new Urbanista Phoenix
TWS earbuds will be offered in two color options, namely Black and Pink. These
earbuds are being sold for a price tag of 149 US Dollars.
