Two AOC AGON Monitors inspired by Porsche design are now available in the Philippines. This is announced during the 50th Celebration of Porsche Design which happened recently in Okada Manila. Both companies made this with an aim to deliver a fast sports car-like design and experience but on the monitors.
To
start, the Porsche x AOC Agon PD27 uses a minimalist wide curved 27-inch
display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 16M colors, up to 240Hz refresh rate, 98
percent NTSC color gamut, 550nits max brightness, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It
also has an adjustable motorsport-designed stand made by Porsche to ensure the
right height, horizontal, or tilt adjustments. Additionally, there's also RGB
lighting to catch the eye of gamers which can be modified using the included
wireless controller. The controller's function also doubles as a tool for the
monitor's settings. For ports, it has 2x HDMI 2.0 (144Hz), 2x DisplayPort 1.4
(240Hz), and 4x USB 3.2. Lastly, the
PD27 monitor is also equipped with two 5W speakers.
The
second product will be a bigger monitor called Porsche x AOC AGON Pro PD32. As
obvious in its name, it has a 32-inch Mini-LED screen with now a 4K resolution,
144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, Display HDR 1400-certified, 97 percent
wide color space DCI-P3, and 1600nits peak brightness. Its aluminum adjustable
stand appears different but still with space saving in mind as they based it on
Porsche steering wheels. This can also move the monitor up and down, rotate or
horizontal view.
There's
also noticeable RGB lighting behind with Light FX customization feature which
can be controlled by the wireless Quick Switch. AOC also included 2 headset
holders on both the left and right sides of the screen. For ports, it is using
2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort, 1x USB-C, 4x USB 3.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Finally, the 2x speakers are also upgraded which are now at 8W.
