Samsung expands its monitor lineup with the new 32 and 27-inch ViewFinity S8. Two new models arrive to expand Samsung's ViewFinity line of monitors. Korean giant Samsung has just launched the new ViewFinity S8 (model name: S80PB) high-resolution monitor that the company says is designed for creative professionals including content creators, graphic designers, and more.
The new monitor will be available in 32
and 27-inch models. Both models have a 3,840 x 2160 UHD resolution IPS panel
with a 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The 32-inch has a 600 nits peak
brightness while the 27-inch has a 400 nits peak brightness. Both models have a
5ms GtG average response time and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. It supports over
1.07 Billion colors.
Its other features include Adaptive
Picture, Eye Saver mode, Flicker Free, Picture-in-picture, and
Picture-by-Picture. It supports VESA 100 x 100 and the included stand is
adjustable in height, tilt, swivel, and pivot. At the back are 1x Display Port,
1x HDMI, 1x USB-C, USB Hub 3.0 (3Dn) *90W USB-C Charging, and 1x Ethernet(LAN)
port.
The monitor has managed to snag several
recognitions including UL-verified Glare Free, PANTONE-validated,
TUV-certified, TCO 9.0-certified, EPEAT-certified, and Energy Star-certified.
