Xiaomi today revealed that the Redmi 10A is now official in the Philippines. As a quick recap, the Redmi 10A is a budget smartphone highlighting a curved back design with stripes with a large black rectangular island housing the cameras, LED flash, and the back fingerprint scanner. It also has a P2i coating for water splash resistance and is available in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Grey colorways.
In front, it uses a 6.53-inch LCD (IPS)
screen with an HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution and a notch for the 5MP f/2.2 selfie
camera with face unlock tech. Under the hood, the device is not as previous PHP
5,990 Xiaomi devices with at least Helio G35 chip like the Redmi 9C 2021.
Instead, it is only equipped with a
2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320
GPU.
The variant in PH comes with 3GB LPDDR4X
RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 expandable internal storage. It also has a 5,000mAh large
battery capacity with micro USB 10W charging. Then, it only has a single 13MP
f/2.2 main camera with AF and LED flash.
Inside, it is using the 2.0GHz 12nm
MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB or 4GB
LPDDR4X RAM, 32GB or 64GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery
capacity with micro USB 10W charging. For the back cameras, it is only using a
single 13MP f/2.2 main camera with AF and LED flash Completing the specs, it
comes with WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM, and Android 11 OS
with MIUI 12.5 skin.
