Huawei has announced the Huawei Enjoy 50 mid-range phone in China. Last year, the company unveiled a couple of Enjoy series smartphones such as the Enjoy 20 5G, Enjoy 20 Plus 5G, Enjoy 20 SE, and Enjoy 20 Pro. The Chinese manufacturer has skipped the Enjoy 30 and Enjoy 40 monikers to announce the Enjoy 50 handset. It offers key features such as a massive LCD display, HarmonyOS, and a behemoth battery with fast charging support.
To begin with, the Huawei Enjoy 50 has a
6.75-inch PS LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The massive display offers an HD+
resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 260ppi pixel
density. For security, it offers features like face unlock and a side-facing
fingerprint scanner. It is powered by an unspecified 2.0GHz octa-core
processor. Reports claim that it features the obsolete Kirin 710A chipset. The
device comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It houses a
6,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.
The rear panel of the phone has a
13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro snapper, and an LED flash. Its
front features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device has dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi
802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It runs
on the HarmonyOS 2 operating system.
The Huawei Enjoy 50 has arrive in multiple
variants, such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8
GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models are priced at 1,299 Yuan (US$ 195), 1,499
Yuan (US$ 225), and 1,699 Yuan (US$ 255), respectively. It comes in three colors,
such as Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black. It is unclear whether
the device will be made available in markets outside China.
