HUAWEI today started accepting pre-orders for the nova 9 SE in China. This comes following the listing of the device on the company website, which also contained a few images. But while those images were only renders, some digital bloggers today posted live images, giving us the clearest look at the device yet (via My Drivers).
The rear design overall looks quite
similar to the HONOR 50 SE, especially the camera module, although there is now
an extra lens. Leaked specifications show that the nova 9 SE will have a 108MP
primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth camera, and finally a 2MP
macro lens. The back panel has an extremely reflective surface, with a design
that makes it look like there are rays emanating from the camera island.
Overall, the look is quite premium.
The display of the HUAWEI nova 9 SE has
been revealed to be a 6.78-inch LCD panel with a 2388×1080 resolution and a
90Hz refresh rate. On the top-center, there is a punch-hole for the 16MP f/2.2
selfie camera.
Under the hood, there’s the Snapdragon 680
chip, which is based on a 6nm process. It uses a Kryo 265 CPU architecture with
a maximum frequency of 2.4GHz and is assisted by the Adreno 610 GPU. The
battery is sized 4000mAh with support for 66W fast charging.
Storage variants are two, namely 8GB+128GB
and 8GB+256GB, and color options are black, white, and blue.
