Chuwi CoreBook X 2022

Chuwi unveils on their website its newest laptop dubbed as the CoreBook X 2022 with a Core i3 Comet Lake processor. Chuwi is known for having products with sleek aesthetics, their latest offering however comes with a lighter and slimmer body. It has a measurement of 10.9mm and weighs 2.99lbs.

The brand also boasts that this laptop is equipped with a 14-inch panel but manages to fit in a 13-inch body. This was achieved thanks to the ultraslim bezel design they incorporated. Meanwhile, the display has a 2160 x 1440 resolution with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 85 percent screen to body ratio.

Under the hood, it uses the 14nm Intel Core i3-10110U processor with a base clock of 2.1GHz and 4.1GHz as its max clock speed. It also has integrated 10th-Gen UHD graphics. Chuwi paired it with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD with an extra slot as it can be upgraded to 1TB. The battery has a 46.2WHr capacity. The brand claims it can last up to 8 hours of usage. However, the wattage of the charger isn't specified but their website says it can reach 60 percent of juice in just 1 hour with its PD 2.0 fast charge support.

Unfortunately, they didn't mention if there's a webcam for this notebook, but based on the images they provided there seems to be a small camera fitted on the ultra-slim bezels at the upper part of the screen. Other features are the low noise fan with the fin density increased by 17 percent for better thermals. For connectivity, it has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 1x USB-C port with PD 2.0, 1x USB-A 3.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and microSD card slot. For the OS it runs Windows 10 and is upgradeable to Windows 11.
