A while back, we saw the launch of the vivo T1 and vivo T1x and today we have a third member to the series with the vivo T1 5G which was introduced in India. The device might share its name with the other two T1 series phones but its specs have significant differences.
vivo T1 5G packs a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with
FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a waterdrop notch up top for
the 16MP selfie cam. Around the back, we find a 50MP main cam alongside two 2MP
sensors for macro shots and depth data. The Snapdragon 695 chip sits at the
helm aided by 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via the
microSD slot. T1 5G sports a plastic back and a side-mounted fingerprint
scanner.
The software side is covered by Android 11
with vivo’s Funtouch OS 12 on top. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W
charging, stereo speakers and a headphone jack too. vivo T1 5G comes in
Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy colors. The baseline 4GB RAM and 128GB
storage variant retails for INR 14,990 (US$ 200). There’s a 6/128GB model going
for INR 15,990 (US$ 214) while the 8/128GB version will set you back INR 18,990
(US$ 254). Open sales start on February 14 from vivo’s official online and offline
stores as well as partnering retailers.
