Realme introduced its 125W UltraDART charging tech in July 2020 and its VP, Mr. Madhav Sheth, told us last October in an interview that the company would launch its first 125W charging phone in 2022. The GT 2 Pro was expected to charge up to 125W, but that didn't happen since the smartphone arrived with 65W charging. And while we await the commercialization of the 125W UltraDART tech, a new rumor claims Realme will launch smartphones with 80W and 150W charging.

Word comes from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, who also said that Realme will use Oppo's 160W power adapters to charge its smartphones at 150W. Additionally, the source claimed that Realme's Dimensity 8000-powered smartphone is coming soon but didn't divulge anything else about it.

That said, for now, Realme's focus is on the February 16 event, where it will unveil the Realme 9 Pro series. The phone maker has already confirmed the lineup includes the Realme 9 Pro+, which will be powered by the Dimensity 920 SoC, boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0, and sport an AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath that can also measure your heart rate.

The smartphone will sport a triple camera system on the rear headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 unit with OIS, and the panel will flaunt Light Shift Design, which will change the Sunrise Blue version's color under sunlight. The other phone in the series is expected to be the Realme 9 Pro. You can head this way to check out the leaked specs of Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+.
