Poco F4 GT

The upcoming Poco F4 GT has been spotted by an inquisitive tipster in a bunch of places getting its certifications ready before launch: FCC, IMEI, EEC, and TUV. All of these certifications reveal that the phone will launch running MIUI 13 out of the box, unsurprisingly as that's the latest iteration of Xiaomi's skin (which Poco also uses).

Further, the F4 GT will have a 4,560 mAh battery divided in two cells, which means support for some type of fast charging is in tow. There's also Hi-Res Audio, and the box contains the phone, a charging brick, USB-C cable, SIM ejector tool, a bundled case, and a Type-C to 3.5mm audio adapter - so no headphone jack on the device then.

The Poco F4 GT's model number is 21121210G, and if you were expecting this phone to be sold under a different name somewhere, you were probably right. The "G" at the end stands for "global" in Xiaomi-land, while "C" is for "China market". And guess what? There's also a 21121210C doing the rounds in the rumorsphere, and this is most likely to launch as the Redmi K50 Gaming. That the same device would be sold under these two names is very unsurprising, considering that the exact same thing happened last year, when the Poco F3 GT was known as the Redmi K40 Gaming in China.

The Poco F4 GT's certifications haven't revealed any other details, but Redmi already revealed that the K50 Gaming is coming with Sony's 64 MP IMX686 sensor for its main rear camera, while on the front, inside a centered punch-hole will reside the 20 MP Sony IMX596. Other confirmed features include an FHD+ OLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 480 Hz touch sampling, and Gorilla Glass Victus on top. There will be at least two color versions - silver and blue. The K50 Gaming will be announced on February 16, so perhaps the Poco F4 GT's unveiling isn't far off.
