There is a lot of time before Redmond-based Microsoft will release its next-gen Surface Laptop 5. But the latter is already the talk of the town. For instance, today, WindowsPrime disclosed some key features of the forthcoming Microsoft notebook. Say, from the shared information, we can learn that the Surface Laptop 5 will have two versions coming with 13.5-inch and 15-inch screens.
DISPLAY
In order to provide top-level productivity
and smooth viewing performance, the upcoming laptops will boast refined
PixelSense 120Hz refresh rate display panels. Also, these panels will have
201PPI, 3:2 aspect ratio, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. As you understand, they
will be capable of providing real color reproduction and vivid visuals like
never before. Other than that, these are touchscreens supporting 10-point
multi-touch.
HARDWARE
Inside, the mentioned two laptops will
carry the latest Intel or AMD chips. Say, the 13.5-inch version will sport
either the 12th gen. Intel Core i5-1240P and an i7-1280P processor or the AMD
Ryzen 7 6680U mobile processor with the Radeon graphics. As for its sibling,
the 15-inch version will have an option between 12th gen. Intel Core i7-1280P

In terms of graphics, the Surface Laptop 5 will come with a choice between
Intel Iris Xe graphics and the Radeon graphics.
Well, not to allow any app and program to
run out of memory, the Surface Laptop 5 will sport improved memory and storage
capacities. Users will be able to choose from storage variants of 256GB, 512GB,
and 1TB SSD as well as RAM variants of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB DDR4 RAM.
