Infinix refreshed its INBook laptop series with the INBook X2 - a 14-inch thin and light laptop with aluminum alloy chassis powered by Intel’s 10th generation CPUs. The X2 weighs in at 1.24kg and is just 14.8mm at its thickest point. It packs a 14-inch IPS LCD with a 1920 x 1080px resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 300 nits brightness.
Infinix also put dual-led flash modules on
each side of the built-in webcam for optimal clarity during video chats. You
can configure the laptops with Intel Core i3-1005G1, Core i5-1035G1 or Core
i7-1065G7. There’s 8 or 16GB RAM and 256/512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD. The Core
i3 and i5 models get Intel UHD Graphics while the i7 model bumps up to Iris
Plus G7.
I/O consists of two USB-C ports, two USB-A
ports, a full-sized HDMI connector, an SD card slot and a headphone/mic combo
jack. The laptop comes with a 50Wh battery which charges over the provided 45W
USB-C power adapter which supports PD. Inifinx claims you can get up to nine
hours of mixed usage on a single charge and eleven hours of web browsing.
The laptop boots Windows 11 Home and comes
with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. Infinix INBook X2
comes in a variety of colors including grey, blue, green and red. The i3 model
starts at US$ 399, the i5 will cost US$ 549 while the top-of-the-line i7 will go for US$ 649. Indonesia, Thailand and Egypt will be among the first countries to get
the X2 series from January 22.
