Stuffcool, popular for its accessories, has launched Ecolo cables, which the company says is India’s first ever sustainable cables made from 96% recycled, repurposed plastic and 4% polyester. The Ecolo cables are available as a 5A Type C to Type A Cable and PD65W compatible Type C to C Cable.
These are GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
certified, a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content
of recycled materials in a final product.
The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses
traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content
and labelling. The packaging of the Ecolo cables will also be 100% plastic
free, said the company.
The Ecolo cables, made from recycled
plastic, has no compromise on performance or durability, says the company. It
adds that both of the cables are braided and have an additional strain relief
design for increased durability.
The Ecolo 5A Type C cable can be used for
OnePlus, OPPO, vivo devices that require high-powered type C cables, while the
Type C-to-C cable can be used for flagship Samsung phones, Google Pixel phones
and even charging the latest iPad Pro and MacBook Pro M1, supporting up to
PD65W of power transmission. Both cables have sync capability and can transfer
data at speeds of 480 Mbps.
The Ecolo Made From Recycled Plastic Type
C to C PD65W and Type C to A 5A cables are priced at Rs. 649 and 699,
